Note that wherever the International Symbol of Access is not required by law (e.g. on the pavement in parking lots, on washroom doors) you are free to use the Dynamic Symbol of Access.
Proposed Amendments
We propose changing each instance of "International Symbol of Access" to "Dynamic Symbol of Access or a forward moving variation of that symbol". Below are the four places where this amendment should be made:
- permit using the Dynamic Symbol of Access as an alternative to the current International Symbol of Access, or, ideally
- to have the Dynamic Symbol of Access mandated for all future use.
